ABOUT CHELSEA
Chelsea Husum owns and operates American GPR & Coring in Denver, CO which provides core drilling and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) services. She loves being involved in the thriving construction industry throughout Denver and Colorado and is passionate about her growing company and team. They are proud to partner with amazing general contractors, mechanical, electrical, fireproofing and other companies in Denver and throughout Colorado.
Chelsea is also an author and just released her first book. She also has taught numerous women's workshops on topics from self-development, habits and living your most fulfilled life. Chelsea loves speaking to groups of women of all ages and shares her personal vulnerable, relatable and humorous stories. She loves connecting with other positive driven women and entrepreneurs to talk shop or share feedback on ideas.
Chelsea is proud to sit on the Board of Directors for STEMblazers, Women of Asphalt and the Castle Rock Economic Development Council.
American GPR & Coring is actively involved in the Associated General Contractors of Colorado, Hispanic Contractors of Colorado, American Subcontractors Association of Colorado, Women of Asphalt, Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Women in Construction and STEMblazers.

Chelsea and her company have been featured in the Denver Business Journal as 2023 Finalist in the Small Business Awards: X Small Category.
She has been featured in the Colorado Public Works Journal Women of Construction Issue, Castle Rock Lifestyle Magazine twice, and the Colorado Construction & Design Magazine, and Shout Out Colorado magazine. She has spoken on panels for small woman-owned businesses at AGC events, at the Annual Rocky Mountain Asphalt Conference, at the SHINE Conference for Girls, the Douglas County School District Continental Super Summit, and for the women of the Colorado Department of Transportation. Chelsea was also a featured guest on the "She Builds Show" Podcast.
She was awarded the "Up & Coming" Award from the American Subcontractors Association of Colorado at the October 2022 Gala.
Chelsea thoroughly enjoys working in the fast-paced construction industry and connecting with all of the incredible construction colleagues throughout Colorado.
She enjoys personal development, travel, and spending time camping and boating with her two young sons and husband. She loves to spend her free time outdoors and be active with family and friends. She's a huge fan of brunch with her girlfriends, relaxing and reading a good book, and listening to live music on a patio. She loves to watch her sons play football, basketball and hockey and has evolved into the crazy mom yelling on the sidelines!
